The Ferry Shop

The nearest place for all essentials, including Post Office. It also has an excellent souvenir, craft and book shop. Round the back is Mica Hardware (same ownership) with a wide range of hardware items often at very good prices.

Internet Access

The Ferry Shop has a public Internet Access point, which you can use for 50p per quarter hour. It may sometimes be necessary to book your session.

Cash Machine (ATM)

There is a cash machine at the Ferry Shop in Fionnphort, available during shop hours only. It accepts most credit cards, and UK bank cards. It also accepts some personal overseas bank cards (but there are sometimes problems). There is no charge for transactions at this machine.

Bunessan

In Bunessan (5 miles) there's a Spar shop (with Post Office).

Pennyghael

Pennyghael (Kinloch, 17 miles) has a Post Office which also sells necessities.

Craignure

Craignure (36 miles) is the ferry terminal. There is a well stocked Spar shop.

Salen

Salen (45 miles), on the route to Tobermory has an excellent Spar shop.

Tobermory

Tobermory (59 miles, allow 1¾ to 2 hours each way) is the 'capital' of Mull. It has several good shops, including a Co-op, an iron-mongers, and a branch of the Clydesdale Bank with external ATM. You can also visit the distillery !
