Maolbhuidhe Bed and Breakfast, Fionnphort, Isle of Mull
Eating Out
2024 is proving to be a busy tourist season on Mull, and some of our visitors have had difficulty getting an evening meal (particularly on the day of arrival) if they haven't booked somewhere in advance.
We do our best to keep this information up to date, but it is always advisable to check before making a journey.
Please note that most places take last orders at 20:00 or 20:30
Fionnphort
The Keel Row (pub and restaurant)
The Keel Row in Fionnphort has recently reopened under new ownership and management. It's been busy, so we strongly recommend booking. The early evening spots tend to go quickly, specially at weekends, so it's best to book in good time (a few days ahead).
The Lazy Cow
Opened in July 2022, the Lazy Cow is a café and farm shop located about a mile out of Fionnphort, a few hundred yards up the Kintra Road (and just a short walk across the field from Maolbhuidhe). It offers drinks and lunches from 10:30 to 15:00. From 15:00 to 16:00 tea, coffee and cakes. Highly recommended. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Kiosk
Almost hidden in the ferry terminal building, the Kiosk offers hot and cold drinks and snacks until about 3:30pm. Very convenient when waiting for the Iona ferry.
